HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN CHETTINAD:
This recipe chicken chettinad is the most likely and famous dish ever which can make easily with the some of the ingrediants which gives the chettinad taste, for making this there are various ingrediants like onion,tomatoes ginger garlic paste lemon juice and etc. to be added and how to make the chettinad chiken process is given below.
INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken 500gms
- Oil 2tablespoon
- Turmeric powder/maljal podi-1tsp
- Lemon juice-2tsp
- Coreander leaves -3tsp finely chopped
- Ginger garlic paste
- Onions 2 sliced finely
- Tomatoes 3 sliced cube
- Salte to taste
FOR CHETTINAD MASALA:
- Dry red chilli -3 to 4 for taste
- Funnel seed/sombu-2tsp
- Cumin seed/seekaram-1tsp
- Cimanon stick/pattai-5 long pieces
- Whole pepercorns-2tsp
- Cardomom pods/yelaki-5
- Cloves/krambu-4
- Fresh cocunut-1/4 cups
- Black stone flower-3pieces
- Coriander seeds-3tsp
MAKING PROCESS:
- Take new and fresh pot what you want and clean it throughly by water and put the chicken in the pot at what kilogram you have taken,
- Then take salt,turmeric powder,and lemon juice,mix this three ingridients in the fresh chicken and keep it for 15 to 20 minutes for disolving it,
- Now make the chettinad masala,take a another pot like (kadaai) and clean it by water, then mix all the ingridients like chilli ,seeragam ,krambu ,yellaki ,pattai in the pot and fry well except cocunut,mix it still the good saturated obtained,and add the cocunut paste and fry well ,
- After fried take it out add it in mixer and add some little water for solution of paste forming and mix it well till the paste forms occur,
- Then it in small pot,now its time to make it,take a little pot like kaddai clean it throughly and put on the gas stove ,then add an oil you have taken before , heat the oil well and add the onions, and fry for ten seconds and add tomatoes ginger paste and karuvepilai and fry it well for some seconds ,
- After mixing it add the chicken curry in the kadaai and mix througly by mixer handle and leave it for some minutes for the chicken and the ingridients to be get well saturated and softness or boiled,before boiling close the pot by plate,
- After the minutes check whether the chicken has been boiled well or not,if boiled well add the mixed ingrediants in the kadaai fully and mix it,and leave it for some minutes for all the masalas and ingredients to be mixed and boiled for the good taste
- After the minute,now its time to taste the yummy chicken chettinad
cooking time :30 to 40min
