HOW TO MAKE CHETTINAD VELLAI KURUMA:
The chettinad vellai kuruma is the one of the old recipe in foods which gives most ever taste used with the combination of birinji food,in vegetables the energetic terms like it have very low in fat and calories and none cholestrol , this recipe is mostly used in marriage function.there are the various ingrediants used in like urulai ,beens ,carrot ,paneer and etc .
INGREDIANTS:
- Onion-1 chopped finely
- Beens-8 chopped finely
- Couliflower-1/2 chopped finely
- Cumin seed/seerakam-1/2 tsp
- Paneer 100 gms
- Carrot-1 chopped finely
- Peas-1/2 cups
- Soyachunks-1/2 cups
- Garam masala powder-1 tsp
- White peper powder -1tsp
- Sugar-1tsp
- Salt
- Corainder leaves
- Oil-1tsp
MAKING PROCESS:
Before making the process of chettinad vellai kuruma you have to grind some ingrediants
- Fresh cocunut-1/4 cup
- Ginger -1 copped and peeled
- Garlic-2 cloves
- Fennel seed/sombu-2tsp
- Cinnamon/pattai-1 piece
Take this all ingrediants and mix it in the mixer for pur fine formation
- Take a clean and fresh pan and add oil in that and heat it,after heating add the paneer which you have taken,fry it lightly for some 2 minutes and take it and kept in one small pot,
- After the process,add some oil in the same pan,heat the oil for 10 seconds,after heating add the ingrediants like cumin seed and onion fry well till the gold formation,
- After fried add the carrot,beens,cauliflower,and add some salt,fry well and toss.close the pan wait for some minutes for that vegetables to be cooked,
- After that add the peas soya chunks paneer and white peper powder and mix it well,after mixing pour some water in that and add some little amount of sugar 1tsp and add cocunut masala which have already mixed in mixer,
- Then mix it well and wait for some minutes for finsh process,
- After some minutes check the taste of the recipe.
cooking time : 25 to 30min
